Dr. Shively was born in West Palm Beach, Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University and her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Colorado.
Five years ago, she moved to Colorado and has since embraced life in the mountains, enjoying all that the state’s seasons have to offer.
Her passion for audiology comes from a deep understanding that hearing loss is often an “invisible” condition—common yet frequently overlooked. She believes everyone deserves the chance to stay connected with their loved ones and to be heard, both literally and emotionally. Dr. Shively particularly enjoys working with pediatric and geriatric patients, guiding them through different stages of life and helping them maintain or restore this vital sense. Witnessing the immediate improvement in her patients’ quality of life continues to inspire her work every day.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Shively enjoys reading, watching reality TV, and spending time with her beloved cat. Whether she’s sipping coffee at a local café with a new book or relaxing at home catching up on “The Real Housewives,” she values simple pleasures and quiet moments of connection.
