Laurie Burns, FNP-C was born in Denver and grew up in Castle Rock, Colorado. In her career as an RN, she worked as a charge nurse at Swedish Hospital, supervised a Family Planning/Women’s Health clinic at TriCounty Health Department, and was a supervisor in a family practice before attending Regis University. In 2017, Laurie graduated with honors and received her Master’s in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been with ENT One since graduation, except for 1 year working in Interventional Spine Pain Management during COVID.
Laurie is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the Society of PAs/NPs in ORL-HNS.
Laurie has trained extensively in the specialty of Otolaryngology since graduating from Regis. This includes conditions like sinus infections, ear infections, allergy testing, nose bleeds, hearing loss, wax removal, and acid reflux to name a few. Her area of expertise within the practice is treating dizziness/vertigo.
She appreciates returning to ENTOne and helping patients as part of the great team here. In her free time, she likes to travel with her husband, spend time with family and enjoy the outdoors.
